Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept card payments. If you are shopping from Europe or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to Euros or your own currency.
We accept all common Credit and Debit cards as well as PayPal online payments. You can also choose to pay by cheque or cash.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently underpriced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

If we make a mistake then we will pay for the return of items, if however the mistake is yours then we will exchange or refund however the items must be returned at your cost.
Breakages must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt and will be replaced at our cost.
By Law we are now obliged to offer a facility to recycle old CFL lamps when you purchase new ones from us.
Shipping And Handling
We will always endeavor to ship by your chosen method; however there may be times when this is not possible and so we reserve the right to substitute a similar alternative. We will normally dispatch your order within 24 hours of receipt. Most goods are sent by Royal Mail so you should allow a few days for the goods to reach you.
If your item is not in stock, we will backorder for you. You will always have the option to cancel the order if you would rather not wait. Your contract with us is for us to dispatch items - it is your responsibility to provide a correct and accurate delivery address.
We cannot be held liable for non-delivery when details are not correct or goods cannot be accepted.
We deliver your order right away. We will normally dispatch your order to you in 1 business day. Standard parcels sent via Royal Mail First Class Post will generally arrive with 2-3 days.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
We always send an email to the email address you submitted to inform you when your order has been dispatched If goods cannot be dispatched within a reasonable time we will email you to advise you of this and, if there is to be a delay, ask if you wish to continue with the transaction and offering you the opportunity to cancel or part-ship your order.
If you have received an email informing you of the dispatch of goods you can be certain they are in transit. If you do not receive your goods within ten working days you should contact us. Unfortunately we cannot start tracking parcels until this time has elapsed. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
Over 40% of lost or missing parcels are often just waiting to be collected from a neighbour or a local Royal Mail sorting office, so please check first.
In the event of problems with any product purchased from us, please get in touch quoting your order number. We will act to ensure that manufacturer guarantees are honored.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you when possible. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Any Card numbers given to us over the telephone are shredded immediately after use. No credit card numbers are retained on any of our systems.

In the event of any problems our liability will be restricted to the purchase price paid for goods. We accept no liability for consequential damage howsoever caused.
Remember it is your responsibility to ensure that goods are appropriate for the intended application - examples include making sure products are used in an environment which is suitable in terms of protection from moisture or excessive heat. Heat management is particularly important with LED lighting as usage outside of their rated operating temperatures can cause burnouts.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or incorrectly described.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition and in original packaging.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. In the event that any goods supplied are faulty on delivery or become faulty within 14 days , they will be replaced free of charge or your money refunded in full (at your discretion).
Refunds for unwanted goods will be made if you notify us by email or in writing of your intent to return within 7 days of receipt of the goods. It is your responsibility to return the goods safely to us - if we do not safely receive goods or you cannot prove dispatch (ask for a certificate of posting - it's free from the post office) then we cannot refund on item. You must pay the return cost unless the items are faulty when we will pay. We comply with the requirements of Distance Selling Regulations 2000. You are entitled to cancel your order up to 7 days after the date of placing the order but should you choose to do so then it is your responsibility to return the goods to us.
If you wish to return unwanted goods for refund or exchange, they must be returned in the original packaging, unmarked and undamaged. It is YOUR responsibility to pack to items securely.
Delivery does not include unpacking, positioning, erecting or start-up of the goods. Estimated delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Please check the goods for damage & sign the delivery note accordingly, once goods have been moved from the delivery address damage claims cannot be considered. Damage claims cannot be made for damaged goods on delivery where the delivery notes do not indicate damage. "Not checked" or "unopened" signatures are not acceptable.
In the event of damage a copy of the delivery note signed by the recipient and confirmed by letter to us within 5 days is required for a claim to be considered.
All packing materials and the item must be kept for our insurers to examine.
