This really is a first for LED lightbulbs - unlike all our other LED lamps these are constructed using 24 surface mounted diodes - in simple terms this means it looks like a standard lightbulb with an opaque front and gives a off a light approx equivalent to a 35w halogen but with a very wide (80degree) beam spread. This makes it perfect for general purpose lighting such as in a kitchen or lounge however it's not so good if you want to concentrate light into a particular space.Great, wide angle light output roughly equivalent to a 35w halogen.
