GU10 halogen bulbs are some of our best selling products. They are used in spotlights and ceiling downlights in both domestic and commercial environments. Halogen lamps are a type of incandescent lamp that produce a bright, white light. GU10 refers to the type of bayonet mount that the halogen lamp is attached to. Mounts are coded by type. The ‘G’ refers to bipin mounts, GU means that the mount includes a mechanism that supports the light fixture and the number in the code refers to the base diameter, i.e., the GU10 has a 10mm base mount. Our GU10 halogen lamps are fully dimmable and designed to trip out your electrics if a bulb blows.

GU10 halogen lamps run from mains voltage and offer an impressive level of light output, which means that these lamps are suitable for a wide range of lighting applications, from kitchen and bathroom spotlights to desk lamps. There is no warm up time so full luminescence is achieved immediately. We stock GU10 bulbs in 20w, 35w and 50w and because of their low purchase price we sell them bulbs in boxes of 10.
