LED Lamps
in the Kitchen . . .
If you're considering LED lighting in your kitchen then it's vital that you get the right lamp. If you have ceiling mounted downlighters then they shouldn't be more than 1m apart as otherwise you may experience a "spotted" effect on the floor. This can be overcome by using lamps with a wide beam angle, such as the Maxilux Zenigata. They are the most expensive but for performance they are unbeatable. in the Halls & Stairs . . .
Almost any LED will be suitable for this kind of application - even the lower cost lamps should suffice as the general light levels required are invariably lower. Before buying, bear in mind the colour temperature and light levels that would best suit the area to be lit.
in Shops & Offices . . .
Consider how you will use your LED lamps - if they are for display and emphasis lighting then we would suggest using high power lamps - if you are wanting to highlight white items or glasswear then try the cool white lamps as they will give a more accurate colour rendition. Narrow beam angles are best suited to producing focused light for product display lighting. Wide beam angles will produce even light coverage for more general lighting.
